NABEF Hosts Radio Show Program on Effective Networking Strategies for Career-building

Sessions followed by networking event for recruiters and job seekers

The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) will host a Career Networking Event at the Radio Show on Friday, September 16. Recruiters in attendance will include Clear Channel, the Star Radio Group, American Urban Radio Networks (AURN) and other companies in the radio business.

The event kicks off with brief sessions on implementing effective networking techniques presented by the Media Staffing Network. Job seekers will learn proper networking etiquette as well as how to build a personal profile and network. The remainder of the event will provide attendees with opportunities to network with recruiters and learn more about current opportunities in the radio industry.

The Radio Show's Career Networking Event is part of NABEF's objective to provide continuing education for broadcasters at every career level including entry-level and job seekers. The NABEF leadership and development programs continue to focus on increased diversity in broadcasting and celebrate broadcasters' community service efforts.

This is a free event open to anyone interested in the radio industry, but space is limited. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP early pass and bring business cards and resumes to pass along recruiters.
