NAB Education Foundation Elects New Board Chair

-- Bonneville’s Darrell K. Brown to lead Board effective January 1 --

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) has elected Board member and President of Bonneville International Corporation Darrell K. Brown as chairman of its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2019. Brown assumes the seat previously occupied by Patrick Communications President Larry Patrick, who served as chairman since 2015.

Darrell K. Brown is president of Bonneville International Corporation and oversees Bonneville's 22 radio stations in the Denver, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle, and Salt Lake City markets. Brown also oversees operations at KSL Television in Salt Lake City. Previously, he served as president of McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Company.

Brown is currently serving on the National Association of Broadcasters Television Board and has served as chairman of the ABC Television Affiliates Association and as an executive board member of Minneapolis-based Internet Broadcasting Systems.
