The Broadcast Leadership Training Program was built by broadcasters, for broadcasters, with the support of broadcasters. For 10 months, selected applicants are provided with the unique opportunity to explore the specific skills, expertise and strategy to own, operate and run radio and television stations and gain a comprehensive understanding of group management. Every year the class leaves ready to become a greater part of the industry and increase the diverse perspectives and voices available to the public.
Your good fortune is also your chance to provide a gift to others. Give someone the same life-changing experience you received by participating in this program. Let’s build our future, together.
“The Broadcast Leadership Training program provided me a line of sight into the business behind the business that I would not have gotten this early in my career, if ever. This program was life-changing and gave me the tools and empowerment to transform my role from employee to thinking like an owner. I will be forever grateful to those who made this possible for me.”
“The Broadcast Leadership Training program was an absolute turning point in my career. It exposed me to facets of broadcast leadership on a much higher level. I gained both invaluable knowledge and the hands-on tools needed to run a successful television station, literally from the ground up. When I graduated from the program, I no longer just wanted a seat at the table. I wanted to sit at the head of the table. That dream has come true.”
“The Broadcast Leadership Training program was an invaluable experience for me. This program framed the media decision-making model and enabled me to feel confident about being a leader in this ever-changing industry. The caliber of the mentors, faculty and speakers of this program was amazing.
My father once said that the people who usually get the senior management positions don’t look like you, but that was his experience. This program is crucial to ensuring that diverse voices are a part of the vital decision-making roles within our industry. I have a ton of aloha for the NAB Leadership Foundation.”
